On Queens Promenade, overlooking Douglas beach, the Rutland Hotel is just 10 minutes’ walk from the Manx Museum and TT Grandstand. Most rooms have sea views and some have balconies.
All rooms have satellite TV and an en suite bathroom with a shower and bath. Some rooms have panoramic views across Douglas Bay.
The menu at the Twenty One Restaurant includes traditional Manx dishes. The bar serves meals and snacks and is open 7 days a week.
Since 2005 the Rutland Sleepwell Hotel has undergone a GBP 4.5 million refurbishment. In 2008 it won Best Hotel at the Isle of Man Tourism Awards.
All the sights on the island are within 30 minutes’ drive of the Rutland Isle of Man Hotel. Douglas is the capital and features horse-drawn trams which run along the promenade as well as the Gaiety Theatre and Camera Obscura on Douglas Head.
